Hand-crafting has been part of human life since the dawn of civilization. In the beginning shells, stones, and bones were turned into simple but useful objects, cave walls were decorated with drawings of animal and human figures and bodies were prettified with meaningful tatoos. Then clay and fibers were worked to provide containers for cooking, carrying, and storing food and water, as well as body covering and personal adornment.
